YesVideo
Announces Digital Publishing on
Demand Cost-effective
Video-to-DVD Transfer Service At
Any Quantity
SAN JOSE,
Calif. - May 30, 2002 -
YesVideo, the leader in
video-to-DVD conversion, today
announced it is revolutionizing
the world of training videos by
adding a new feature to its
conversion service: digital
publishing on demand.
Digital
publishing on demand allows
customers to order DVDs or CDs,
created from archived copies at
YesVideo, as needed. This service
eliminates the need for YesVideo
customers to carry large
inventories. Companies can now
have their training video content
securely stored in YesVideo's
digital archive, and then
replicated on demand.
By utilizing
DVD-R technology, YesVideo is
able to offer
professional-quality DVDs or CDs
with attractive, customized
packaging for $30; each
additional copy costs $18 or
less. Most other replication
companies charge several thousand
dollars to just author a DVD and
create the master.
YesVideo's
service is an affordable and
efficient way to distribute
valuable training videos.
Customers need only ship the
training video direct to YesVideo
to transfer to DVD or CD.
YesVideo will complete the
transfer within three business
days and ship back the original
tape and DVD or CD. Like all
YesVideo DVD transfers, the
customer receives their DVD with
intelligently selected scene
breaks and a visual index of 54
chapters on the package.
"We're so glad
we found YesVideo," said Karl
Young of Video Language Products.
"They were the easiest and most
cost effective way to convert our
whole series of training videos
onto CD and DVD."
Chuck Mervin
from Gabriel Media agrees. "The
YesVideo service is superb for
our videos. We see a huge
opportunity in offering DVDs;
YesVideo allows us to ease into
the future of digital media in a
way that makes sense for us. We
look forward to promoting this
service to our customers!"
"The YesVideo
service greatly facilitated the
task of training our software
developers in Bangalore, India,"
said Rudy Hernandez from
Netcentives. "The process took
our taped sessions and made them
physically better and easier to
learn from. No messy fade-outs or
scene cuts, just a smooth flow
and professional packaging. Our
worries of tape damage /
deterioration in shipment were
also put to rest!"
YesVideo is
the most convenient, simple and
affordable customized service for
transferring home videos to DVD
and CD. Sai-Wai Fu, a pioneer in
digital video compression
technology, founded the company
in 1999. The company is located
