NIHON SOGO

committed to using YesVideo
services to transfer thousands of
wedding videos onto DVD.
Nihon Sogo
shoots wedding videos in two
sections - the ceremony and the
reception. The company uses
contract-based professional
videographers shooting on digital
videotape. The video is then
edited and transferred to DVD
using YesVideo services.
YesVideo
indexes 54 thumbnail images taken
from the wedding video so
customers can skip directly to
the scene they want to view -
without holding down a
fast-forward button. The DVD or
CD arrives in customized
packaging and the cover features
a visual index of the video,
making it easy to select which
training DVD to watch. The
completed DVDs are usually
delivered to customers within
three weeks to a month after the
wedding.

Nihon Sogo recorded more than
30,000 weddings on video in
