Unveils Innovative CD Solution
for
Videographers
Simple and
Inexpensive Video Digitalization
Solution Offering Free Trial at
WEVA Expo 2000 -- Booth #721
SAN JOSE,
Calif. - August 15, 2000 -
Making the tedium and high
expense of having client videos
transferred to CDs a thing of the
past, YesVideo.com announced
today a revolutionary new service
that allows videographers to
easily and cost effectively
provide clients with CDs of
edited videos. The service, being
unveiled at WEVA Expo 2000, is as
simple as dropping a video in the
mail and costs about half or less
of other solutions currently
available. At the same time,
YesVideos service offers
videographers continuing revenue
potential if consumers order more
of the same CDs.
YesVideo
is dedicated to making the
digitization of videos as simple
and profitable to wedding and
event videographers as
possible, said Sai-Wai Fu,
president and CEO of
YesVideo.com. Videographers
tell us that most of their
clients request CD copies of
their videos, but that
digitization is time consuming
and expensive. Our innovative and
complete service will take the
hassle and expense out of the
process and let videographers
redirect their time to more
creative and profitable
activities.
Videographers
visiting YesVideos WEVA
Expo 2000 Booth #721 will be
given a free trial kit for the
new service. Starting early 2001,
YesVideo will also transfer
videos onto two-hour DVDs at the
same low price to serve the
increasing number of computer
owners purchasing those
drives.
Heres
how YesVideos process
works: a videographer will mail
the finished tape to
YesVideo.com. In most cases, the
digitization process takes
between 5 to 10 business days,
after which the videographer will
receive back the completed CDs
packed in handsome plastic cases,
along with the original tape. The
covers of the CDs will be
customized to show thumbnail
images of the most important
video scenes, as well as the
videographers name.
Videographers
clients will find YesVideos
CDs (and, soon, DVDs)
particularly appealing because
they will be simple for consumers
to customize for sharing with
friends and family. Thanks to
YesVideos patent-pending
process, the client can rearrange
and prioritize the video scenes
depending on who will receive the
CD. The client can then share
select scenes for free by webcast
or order inexpensive CD copies.
For example, a bride may organize
the video scenes on her CD to
emphasize shots of her sorority
sisters. Then she can email her
friends the link to view the
preferred scenes on
YesVideo.coms website at no
charge, or order CD copies to
send as presents. Videographers
will receive a percentage of the
revenue from additional CDs of
the same video.
