YesVideo
Revolutionizes Use of Deposition
Video in Trials
SAN JOSE, Calif. - December
1, 2002 - Ask any lawyer if
they would like to use video more
often in trial, and you'll always
get the same answer: "Sure, but
it's too expensive and time
consuming." To use video in the
past, the key videotape footage
was located, carefully edited,
and reassembled back to
videotape, CD or DVD … all
of which squanders valuable time
and money. YesVideo is excited to
announce its new YesLaw product
that enables the powerful and
convenient use of video during
discovery and at trial. YesLaw
makes video editing as simple as
highlighting text. YesLaw is the
first product that combines the
transcripts (text from
deposition) and the video footage
with an embedded editing tool on
one CD-ROM product. Attorneys can
now rely on the power of video to
powerfully present their case.

Attract the Most Camcorder
Use
SAN JOSE,
Calif. – November 27, 2000
– Although it may seem
that every person in the world
(except maybe you) is using a
camcorder at popular tourist
destinations, in fact only 13
percent of all camcorder use is
for vacations or visits to exotic
places. This is one of the
findings of a national survey
being released today by YesVideo.
The study revealed that
camcorders come out of the closet
more than three times as often
(44 percent of the time) for
events that focus on children
rather than for travel. Family
holiday gatherings are the second
most popular use of video cameras
at 17 percent, trailed by travel,
“cool” events (10
percent), everyday moments (7
percent), parties (3 percent) and
weddings (2 percent). More...
